The fragrance opens with vibrant thyme and saffron before unfolding into a heart of rich leather and jasmine. It settles into a smoky base of musk, amber, and cedarwood—evoking the mystery and intensity of glowing embers against the night sky.

Small But Mighty

I purchased the last ‘seconds’ version as I couldn’t justify this whim of a purchase that I stumbled across. I can’t even identify how this is classified as seconds as it is perfect. If this is the quality of their ‘lesser’ product, I have no hesitation recommending their perfected product. I would happily pay full price knowing what I know now. It is solid and beautifully sculptural with the texture they have created. The oil is as described, it also reminds me a little of Byredo’s Black Saffron, either way it is a luxurious scent. Considering this is locally made, if you wanted a momento to remind you of Melbourne, this is it.
