Obsidian is named for the black volcanic glass that forms when lava cools. The collection has deep charcoal glazes, speckled texture and a quiet, moody presence. Each piece is handcrafted in Melbourne, Australia.

A dark, speckled ceramic dish holds a single piece of volcanic stone. Add fragrance oil to the stone, and it slowly releases scent into the room with no flame and no power needed. It's scent and sculpture in one.

Refill your stone with any of our 15ml fragrance oils, which are pure and undiluted. Stay with your favourite, or try something new from the full range of Studio McKenna signature scents.
HOW TO USE
Simple by design

Set the volcanic stone in the ceramic dish.

Drop 6–8 drops of fragrance oil onto the stone.

The porous stone soaks up the oil and releases it gradually.

Add a few more drops whenever the scent starts to fade.
